Open Observatory

NOTTI DESTATE 2

Researchers from the INAF Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory carry out cutting-edge research to understand how the universe works: both by analyzing images from distant telescopes, on the ground and in space, and by building advanced instruments for these telescopes. The Open Observatory evenings are an opportunity for the Observatory researchers to meet with society. The visit, which may also include the path among the planets of the astronomical park and the observation at the historical telescope of Giovan Battista Amici, will be carried out by an astronomer from the Observatory who will share his passion for his work with the public, telling how his research works, the news on the topic and recent discoveries and leaving room for your questions and curiosities.

The Open Observatory visits take place once a month at the first quarter of the moon.
